Insider Tips for Cheshire Weddings
After years of performing at Cheshire weddings, here are a few things we'd always recommend:

Don't be afraid for your first dance to be around 8pm. Guests are usually ready to hit the dancefloor at this time and we will get them up with you immediately after the first dance, so make the most of that energy.

Consider where your evening guests will be arriving from. Giving them enough time to grab a drink before the band starts can make a huge difference to the atmosphere.

Speak to your venue early about sound limiters and setup times. Luxury venues all work slightly differently.

Bigger isn't always better. Some of our most memorable weddings have been intimate celebrations with an absolutely packed dancefloor.

Trust your suppliers. Cheshire is blessed with some incredible wedding professionals and working together is what makes an amazing day.

What do you need to know to book the perfect wedding band in Cheshire
Will you charge huge travel costs because we're in Cheshire?
Absolutely not. Cheshire is one of our busiest areas and we're certainly not going to start charging extortionate mileage fees for performing at one of our favourite wedding destinations. We'll always be fair and transparent when providing your quotation.
How much space do you need?
Less than most people think! We regularly perform in venues of all shapes and sizes and can tailor our setup accordingly.
Can you learn our first dance?
Absolutely. If your chosen song suits our line-up and vocal style, we're always happy to discuss learning something special for your wedding, but sometimes your choice will be better sung by the original artist! and we facilitate that via our DJ service.

Do you travel outside Cheshire?
Yes. While Cheshire is one of our busiest areas, we regularly perform throughout Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Liverpool, Leeds, North Wales, the Lake District and across the UK.

Yes. Gavin has over 15 years' experience DJing weddings and events and provides professionally curated music throughout the evening.
Do you perform at marquee weddings?
Absolutely. Cheshire has been home to some incredible marquee and outdoor celebrations we've done and we'd be delighted to discuss the practicalities of performing at your venue.

Gavin and The Rush were outstanding and played such a huge part in making our evening exactly what we’d hoped for.
Gavin performed a short acoustic set after our wedding breakfast, and it ended up being one of our favourite moments of the whole day. The weather was beautiful, the atmosphere was amazing, and his performance just brought everything together perfectly.
In the evening, The Rush performed two brilliant sets and had the dance floor full from start to finish. They read the room so well, choosing songs that matched the energy and kept everyone dancing. Gavin then took over DJ duties and kept the party going until the very end.
